Workshop & Training - Saturday, 24th January, 2015
Date: Saturday, 24th January, 2015

Workshop & Training

Workshop & Träning i Bergshamra

On top of the usual training there will be a Workshop where we will be going to take an introductory look at longsword combat against one-handed sword & shield and spear.
We'll be using mainly Liechtenauer,
but there will be Meyer repetition and exercises for those interested.
It might be a good idea to bring protection if you plan on attending the workshop...

The Rapier group will be there as normal.
(otherwise Fredrik or P-A will write something)

Workshop, training and sparring in the Bergshamra School Gymnasium
From 10:00 to 12:00.
A map to the gymnasium is available through the following link http://kartor.eniro.se/m/edp2n.

There is a THANKYOU-button below this post.
Click it to indicate that you will attend.

If you need a sword,
ask it under here.

I will bring my large shield, buckler and a side sword, rapier, dagger, longsword and one spare longsword, one spare dagger, one spare rapier.
Jack will bring my feder, right?
I intend to spar some, if there will be any time for it.

Mvh,
Jens Gunnarsson

I will bring the feder. I'm sorry for not attending this wednesday. As an additional question, is sparring gear recommended this session? I'll be carrying quite a bit.

Form what I think I'll do:

YES!

...some small parts of the workshop will only be performed by people with protective gear,
mostly trying out some of the techniques that you'll be shown...

But don't worry if you don't have the equipment or if you can not carry it,
there'll be plenty of things to do!

Hi Marco,
Do you think it would be worth coming to the workshop just to watch? I would really like to join the fun, but my arm is still not fit to wield anything heavy.

If you have the time,
and it doesn't bother you to get up early on Saturday,
you're very well welcome!

Also,
if it works and if it is liked,
we might repeat it and expand on it...

...and don't forget the pizza afterword!
